The gents of Brookfield Bowling Club were thrilled to lift the trophy as winners of the Johnstone & District League 3 – 2025 season. With grit, consistency, and team spirit, Brookfield stormed through the competition and secured the title with a commanding 10-point lead over their nearest rivals.
👥 Representing Brookfield with Pride
The club was proudly represented by three dedicated teams of three players each:
Team 1: C Blaikie, I Blainey, D Dobson (Skip)
Team 2: J Fletcher, J Shedden, D Taylor (Skip)
Team 3: E Monks, M Orr, C Greig (Skip)
Each Wednesday evening, two of these teams rotated through fixtures across the district, while the third team remained on standby to cover any absences—ensuring Brookfield always fielded a strong and united front.

🥇 Securing Victory Early
Remarkably, the championship was sealed even before the final match of the season was played. Brookfield’s consistent performance throughout the campaign left no doubt, finishing with 35 points from 24 matches—well ahead of second-place Shanks on 25 points.
