Our visit to Peterhead yesterday was especially meaningful, as both our clubs celebrate their 125th Anniversaries this year. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. Peterhead resident Carol and her husband Alan had met us the evening before, and it genuinely felt as though we had known them for years — a lovely reflection of the club’s warmth and spirit.

On the green, the match itself proved to be largely one‑way traffic, with Peterhead securing four of the five rinks. However, the President’s Rink flew the flag proudly for Brookfield, taking the win — and the trophy 🏆.

After the game, we enjoyed a very thoughtful presentation, followed by a beautifully made cake to help us celebrate our own 125th Anniversary. A generous gesture and a fitting way to mark the occasion.
