The James Thom Trophy was played yesterday in some lovely sunshine, and it was clear from the atmosphere on the green that everyone thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon.

A special thank you goes to Marjory, who did a fantastic job keeping everything running smoothly — including some last‑minute reorganising to cover a couple of unexpected no‑shows. Well done, and thank you, Marjory. Thanks also to Francis for keeping the scoring in order during what could easily have become a rather tricky exercise.

And of course, a big thank you to all players who took part and helped make the day such a success.
