The Brookfield Gala Day is almost upon us, and we’d love to see as many members as possible come along for what is always a fun, relaxed afternoon in the village.

Please note that there will be no bowling on Saturday 22nd August, as the green will be closed for the Gala. With no play that day, it’s the perfect chance to enjoy the event — or lend a hand at our ever‑popular Tombola Stall.

Help Needed – Bottle & Gift Collection (Monday Evening)

A reminder that help is required tomorrow evening, Monday, for the collection of bottles and gifts for the Tombola.

• Report to the Village Hall between 6:00pm and 6:15pm
• You’ll be allocated a specific area of the village to collect from
• If you’re unsure what’s involved, any committee member will happily guide you

Whether you’re helping with the collection, assisting on Gala Day, or simply coming along to enjoy the afternoon, your support is greatly appreciated and makes a real difference to the success of the stall.
