Brookfield Ladies have the honour of hosting the Johnstone & District Ladies Champion of Champions Semi‑Finals on Thursday 27th August, with play beginning at 6.00pm across six rinks.
It’s expected that several of our own ladies will be competing in their semi‑finals that evening, so a good turnout of support around the green would be very welcome.
Help Needed on the Night
To ensure the event runs smoothly, we’re looking for volunteers — not just ladies — to assist with:
- Board turning
- Meet & greet duties
- Kitchen help for teas for spectators and afterwards
Our gents are especially encouraged to get involved. With several of our ladies likely to be playing in their semi‑finals, a bit of extra support from the men would make a real difference and help the evening run seamlessly.
Players are anticipated to arrive from 5.00pm onwards, so any help from that time would be greatly appreciated.
If you’re able to lend a hand, please let Margaret, Mary, Marion or Christine know.
